The Seven Spiritual laws of Christ

Taken from a portion of my book “A Tree Called Morality”

As I said in the previous chapter, Christ has seven supernatural (spiritual) laws. They will move you to understand how Christ walked on earth, but they never intend to make you a god!

Picture, if you will, two contractors and their crews building two mansions. One creates one out of stone and mortar with a dirt floor. The lighting is candles and a well to get water with an outhouse in the back. Moses built this house, and the only way to live there was to pay rent.135 We’ll talk more about this house and its meaning later. The second house is a mansion, but this house is more modern. It was built as a foundation, framing, and rafters, the electricity and wiring, the pipes to bring in water and out the sewage, then the insulation, then the drywall and wood finishing, and finally, the roof. However, this house is owned and built by the master Carpenter Jesus of Nazareth.136 This house will last forever and was here from the foundations of the world.

The first principle laid the foundation of the House of God that moves the natural and spiritual realms of all creation. This principle was the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. This first law is found in Romans chapter eight, verse two. Then there is the second principle called the laws of faith, found in Romans chapter three, verse twenty-seven. This law brings the framing of the house.

However, without these two laws, you don’t have anything coming in, like the power from the electricity and the water. The electricity is the law of liberty found in the epistle of James chapter one, verse twenty-five. Then the water and sewage is the law of kindness found in the book of Proverbs, chapter thirty-one, verse twenty-six.

Then there is the royal law of love found in the epistle of James chapter two, verse eight. This law about love is the insulation that keeps the heat (fire) of the Holy Spirit inside. Next, there is the drywall and the wood finishing, which this principle is the law of righteousness found in Romans chapter nine verse thirty-one. Finally, the roof that keeps us dry and safe in the law of sin and death is our protection from the body of Christ.

Having these spiritual laws, we can walk as Christ did on the earth. How can we do this? It’s simple. It takes the Holy Spirit, and not our self will try to be good. This spiritual has each person in the body of Christ putting on the mind of Christ.137 The word of God states in Romans 8:3-5, “…for what the natural law couldn’t do through the flesh. God sending his son in the likeness of sinful flesh, condemned sin in the flesh: The righteousness of him might be fulfilled in us who walk not after the things of the flesh but after the Spirit. They who are after the flesh does the thing of the flesh; but that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.”

Now what this means is simple—put in perspective what the word law means, which we have already defined as a commandment, judgment, word, or principle that comes from an authority or power that can’t be changed or altered. Furthermore, the term “law”  has two principles. Those principles are spiritual and natural laws.

In chapter two, we have already defined the word “natural” as carnal or fleshly, so naturally brings rule, commandment, judgment, terms, or principles to the natural, sensual, or fleshly world. The spiritual laws bring the commandment, judgments, words, or doctrines to the spiritual realm or world.

Because the flesh or the natural realm can never have dominion over God’s kingdom, you will either operate in the Spirit, and the Spirit will dominate over the natural, or you will perform in the natural. And the natural will war against the Spirit of God. We are born with iniquity and conceived by our parent’s sins.138

“For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me, but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that, I would not. No more I do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.”

In the following verse, the Apostle Paul clarified why the natural laws were under the spiritual law of sin and death. He said, “When I would do good, evil is present with me.” (Romans 7:21), For Paul’s delight in the law of God was after the inward man. However, he saw another direction in him, which aggressively warred against the law of his mind.

“For the carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace…” 139 The flesh envies against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh because they’re divergent the one to the other so that we cannot do anything that we desire to do for God the Father.

Because the carnal mind will always be enmity against God, and it is not subject to God’s laws, neither can it be. This resulted from Adam’s fall in the garden when he rebelled by eating the knowledge of good and evil. Humanities soul was corrupted and became the dominating force over the Spirit of man.

Because the Spirit of man was created to communion with God and obeyed God’s wishes, however, when man sinned, the soul became God ruling the Spirit of man. Making the Spirit of a man dead or unable to hear or communion with God. So, then they that are in the flesh or carnal cannot please God.140

Yet, many people use natural laws to enslave others, become rich, and gain the power to create other natural laws that make them successful. This can be seen in three vocations: entertainment, military, and religion. The wealthy celebrities, the one percent, and generals of our military use natural laws to conquer the weaker, poor, and ignorant.

Then how can the wealthy celebrities of politics, Hollywood, and the rich that we see in the limelight of society appear to be successful? Because, in the world system, they seem to be rich and not wealthy. Jesus Christ was wealthy because anyone he encountered was changed, whether for good, bad, or ugly.

You were immediately changed and never the same after your encountering Christ Jesus. I guarantee if you were to meet any of the wealthy celebrities. You would be the same as you were before! Your life might be enriched, but you will not become rich or change.

Because you are only meeting these people at a natural level, and they can only operate on the sensual story of life. Moreover, they will only be able to use natural law to be successful. Case in point: in the gospel of John, Jesus’ meeting with the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well. She had rights to that well all her life when Jesus asked her for a drink. Although she may have been rich in the rights to that well regarding her actions and judgments, she was in poverty because she couldn’t even drink a thirsty man without being bitter at him.

Little did she know that the man she met. He was the creator of the water, the well, and the owner of the well. Jesus met Jacob nine hundred years before she was born. Christ was the God that showed Jacob where to dig the well while they were in a wrestling match. Jesus threw Jacob’s hip out of joint and gave Jacob his new name Israel.

Israel was the same lineage of the salvation that brought Jesus Christ to the earth, and this same Jesus of Nazareth was the same man standing before the Samaritan woman. However, the woman at the well Jacob’s was rich in the well water. She was poor in the living water (the Holy Spirit), which only Jesus Christ had through the spiritual laws. He used these spiritual laws all his life.

The Samaritan Woman to work in the natural laws would only help her soul and bodily needs, and she would never work in the spiritual realm and please God like Christ Jesus did every day. This action occurred because the rich think of becoming more affluent and don’t share their wealth, but the rich only do philanthropies to get appreciation from others.141

The rich people will always be getting richer by purchasing information, products, or media from them. You need to jump through the same hops they did to get rich instead of God bless you. The Bible states that the Lord orders the steps of a righteous man and woman. The Bible reads: Receive ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are now made perfect by the flesh?142 Now understand why many people don’t prosper in the natural laws. We need to find out what these laws hold.

As the word of God has told us before, the person who works in the flesh under the natural laws is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the spiritual laws of God. Neither indeed can be, for as many of the works of the natural law are under the curse.143 For it is written, ‘Curse is every one that continued not in the laws to do them.’144 Means only one person can work under natural laws successfully. The person is Jesus Christ, our savior. It doesn’t matter how often you try or use the natural laws. All of humanity will fail.
