The Law of Kindness

Part 2 of the Royal law of Love

The Holy Ghost inside of you will help to cultivate a daily love-fest party for some undeserving soul, and by working the principle or law of the Spirit. This law is both a characteristic of God and a principle of Christ covenant, the law of kindness is the essence that both fulfills both the LAW (Torah) and the PROPHETS.

The heart of this sympathetic nature is for people to act in friendship or to have a forbearing and gentle nature. Stems from this law in action. And the law of kindness is a characteristic that comes from the spiritual character of the Spirit of grace and supplications. This law of kindness comes from grace the and mercy of God. The understanding of grace and mercy has its roots in the Old Testament and the dealings God shows to the children of Israel.

“She opened her mouth, wisdom, and in her tongue is the law of kindness.” (Proverbs 31:26 KJV)

The word kindness and grace are twisted; the word grace is חֵן (pronounced khane) it meant graciousness and for one to show kindness or favor. It can also mean beauty.[1] So, if you got the unmerited favor of God through an act of kindness, it was this Hebrew word. Where the Hebrew word for mercy is defined the Hebrew word chehsed חֵסֵד(pronounced kheh`-sed)  as kindness to bring piety toward God.[2] Notice that both definitions are actions of kindness.

In fact, the very character of God will prove that he is in your operating and demonstrating the law of kindness. As you begin to mature into the very nature of God. The born-again believer will begin to show signs of this principle of Christ.

When Jesus Christ sat on a grassy hillside. He gave the precepts of the law of kindness. The speech he gave could’ve anywhere from one or two and a half hours long. Moreover, this speech gave the blueprint of how a believer conducts his life. And how this principle brings deliverance and salvation to the lost and all that is around them.

The law of kindness will bring deliverance and salvation to those who will operate in the kingdom of God’s principles of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. The believer will tighten on the armor of Christ.

The believer must release all ties with the world. The believer fixes their eyes where Christ is seated, keeping their minds on things that are above, and not on things that are on earth (Colossians 3:2 KJV). As Matthew Henry declared about 2 Corinthians chapter ten, verse six. When he stated:

“The apostle’s power to punish offenders (and that extraordinarily) is asserted in [… and being in readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience shall be made full.] The apostle was a prime-minister in the kingdom of Christ, and chief officer in his army. And had in readiness (that is, he had power and authority at hand) to revenge all disobedience, or to punish offenders in a most exemplary and extraordinary manner.

The apostle speaks not of personal revenge, but of punishing disobedience to the gospel, and disorderly walking among church-members, by inflicting church-censures. Note, though the apostle showed meekness and gentleness, yet he would not betray his authority. And, therefore, intimates that when he would commend those whose obedience was fulfilled, or manifested others would fall under severe censures.”[3]

The law of kindness will cause you to go and start praying and supplicating towards the Lord Jesus about a person. This petition will bring both deliverance and salvation to the people you are praying about. The law of kindness must be wielded with the sword of one’s tongue, and the edges are the Word of God… alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword. It can cut all the way… penetrating to the division of soul and spirit, both of joints and marrow, and a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

For the bride of Christ must bring her water out of the wellspring of the belly, and it must be living… He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his inward being shall flow rivers of living water. As it is written of the virtuous woman— “She opens her mouth with wisdom; and upon her tongue is the law of kindness…” (Proverbs 31:26 MKJV)

Understanding must be our pillar, and the seven Spirits [characteristic] of God the Holy Ghost. This is the true essence and power of God in us. The law of kindness moves by the leading Spirit [characteristic] of meekness.

“Brothers, if a man is overtaken in a fault, you the spiritual ones restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering yourself, lest you also be tempted.” (Galatians 6:1 MKJV)

You may remember the phrase: “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.”(Matthew 7:12 ESV) as the golden rule. Well, this phrase comes from the above scripture. Many without the Holy Spirit have tried to do this in their own power. However, trying to fulfill the very nature of Christ without Christ, Jesus in vain.

Remember, in the precepts of the royal law of love? “And if I shall bestow out all my earthy goods in food, clothing, and riches to the poor. And if I sacrifice my body that I’m burnt alive, but have not love, I profit nothing.”(1 Corinthians 13:3 NLT & AMP paraphrased) Bathing kindness love is more powerful than that random act of charity.

You need to picture a master teacher washing the feet of his students to prove he was a real master of all of them. “It shall not be thus amongst you, but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your servant…”(Matthew 20:26 KJV) So, a true teacher will serve his students and not just teach them his principles.

This is what Jesus did in John 13:5-20, and he even washed the feet of both Judas and Peter. They are the ones that would betray and deny him. Now that’s power! Christ Jesus would even consider himself a great servant. He exercised this by holding his peace for their misconduct.

We find that precept of the law of kindness is found in Matthew chapter five, verse two, through chapter seven, verse twenty-seven. The Holy Spirit with the law of kindness makes the desire of the spirit of man (led by the Holy Spirit) to show compassion ( love in action [Matthew 6:1-34]). We show mercy, which love a defensive mode by forgiving ([Matthew 7:1-6]). And the most important of them all acts of grace (the unmerited favor to give salvation and love by the power of Father God [Matthew 7:12-27]).

The law of kindness will always destroy the Spirit of haughtiness, and it reminds his people where they got their wealth from, and who gave them the love in their heart. In fact, the next law allows us to witness to the lost and deal with the immature and weak saints. All of this must be crowned in the vision of who Christ Jesus is, and what is his purpose for our lives.
